Juniperus oxycedrus
Red juniper is a large, hardy evergreen shrub belonging to the Cupressaceae family. The oil extracted from the wood has been used in traditional medicine in the past, and its fragrance is evident in soaps, detergents, creams, and fragrances. In the fragrance industry, particularly, red juniper wood oil is renowned for its pine-like characteristics and is used as a base note in men’s fragrances. It is also employed as an ingredient in creams, ointments, and anti-dandruff shampoos.
For massage, mix 5 drops with 10 ml of carrier oil. For a bath, mix 5 drops with 5 ml of carrier oil. To scent, mix 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil. For topical use only.
Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your physician if pregnant or under medical treatment. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
