Historically used by Native Americans to promote skin health and as part of their spiritual healing practices, Black Spruce is a powerful wood essential oil. It is distilled from the needles and branches of the Picea mariana tree. After strenuous exercise, or when your body is in need of topical support, massage Black Spruce into the skin with a carrier to create a soothing and comforting massage. You can apply to the back of the neck throughout the day to promote feelings of harmony and balance.

One of the most prized and precious oils due to its rich aroma, Frankincense is often referred to as the “king” of essential oils. Centuries ago, ancient Egyptians used Frankincense resin for everything from perfume to salves for the skin. Its soothing and beautifying properties may be rejuvenating to skin and may help reduce the appearance of imperfections when applied topically.

Blue Tansy, also referred to as Moroccan Tansy, is an annual yellow-flowered Mediterranean plant found in northern Morocco. This Tansy flower has a chemical makeup your skin will crave! Chamazulene, a chemical component in Blue Tansy, gives it its characteristic indigo colour. This essential oil is also known to benefit the skin. Add to a hot bath, use with your favourite skin care products or simply massage into skin!

Ho Wood Essential Oil (Cinnamomum Camphora Linaloolifera), is steam distilled from the bark and wood of the same tree that brings us Ravinsara essential oil, distilled from the leaves. Ho Wood is one of the most potent sources of naturally occurring linalol found in any steam distilled essential oil. Emotionally, given its linalol content, Ho Wood Oil is a “peaceful” oil. It is calming and is a good choice when needing to relax or unwind.

Chamomile Blue (or German Chamomile) in its plant renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties. This type of Chamomile takes its name from the deep blue oil released on the distillation of the plant’s flower heads. Chamomile Blue is non-irritating and non-sensitising, making it ideal in preparations to soothe skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. It can also assist as an anti-inflammatory for treating stiff or painful muscles and joints after exercise or muscular trauma. Emotionally Chamomile Blue is used to ease stress and to calm extreme nervous tension. Used in a diffuser, bath blend or massage treatment it can help to dispel some of the physical tension caused by stress and anxiety.

Add water to bring bath bar to a rich lather. Use in the shower, bath, or at the sink. To make the bar last longer, keep dry between uses. For external use only. Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat.
