Gardenia Touch

Gardenia jasminoides

Cultivated in South-East Asia, Gardenia jasminoides is an evergreen flowering tree referred to as a ‘Zhi Zi’ in China, where it shares its origin, with Japan. Framed by dark green, elliptical leaves, the permeating, heady scent of flowering gardenia is richly fragrant. When in bloom, the petals form a soft spiral formation creating a beautifully symmetrical display. Similar to Jasmine, the essential oil is steam-distilled from the blossoms of the plant, where massive amounts are required to produce a small yield. Diluting the essential oil with Fractionated Coconut Oil creates a soft, delicate fragrance, ready to apply in a convenient roll-on applicator.
