Winter is over. Spring is at the door and you’re full of energy… or maybe not?
If you feel a little sluggish, slightly bloated and sleepy, if your focus and motivation are low, if your emotions are all over the place… it might be time for a spring detox.
Your body has a reset button – and it’s in your hands. One good scrub. A few powerful essential oils for massage. Ten minutes just for you. A small ritual that can create a big shift.
Detox Body Scrub – Activation Through the Skin
The skin is the largest detox organ. And exfoliation is one of the simplest ways to stimulate circulation and lymphatic flow. A detox scrub removes dead skin cells, boosts microcirculation and prepares the body for better oil absorption.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons fractionated coconut oil
- 2 drops Peppermint
- 10 drops Lemon
- 10 drops Juniper Berry
Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl.
How to use:
Apply to damp skin using gentle circular motions with light pressure, always moving toward the heart. Focus on the legs, abdomen and arms. Rinse with warm water and follow with your detox massage oil.
Detox Massage Oil – Movement from Within
After exfoliation, it’s ideal to apply an oil blend that further supports the lymphatic system and circulation. This combination offers both stimulation and balance.
Ingredients:
- 20 ml fractionated coconut oil
- 15 drops Grapefruit
- 15 drops Green Mandarin
- 10 drops Siberian Fir
Mix in a dark glass bottle.
How to use:
Apply a small amount to the legs, abdomen or back. Massage with gentle strokes toward the heart. Best used after exfoliation and showering, when the skin is warm and pores are open.
Why Does This Work?
Exfoliation stimulates circulation.
Massage supports lymphatic movement.
Essential oils assist the body’s natural detoxification processes.
And deep breathing during the ritual lowers stress – the biggest detox saboteur.
